For this individual HW (called individual H/W because it should be done as an individual and not in a team) you are to look over the “Article Selection Based on Your Interest” web link and do the following.

Article 1 – In a sentence or two answer the following questions:

  1. Pick one article based on your interest. The website has a list of various articles addressing different topics that are currently in the LSCM field.
  2. Provide a summary of the article you have selected.
    1. What topic is mentioned in the article that piqued your interest?
    2. Briefly describe the topic in the article.
    3. Because the article is selected based on your interest, tell us why you selected the article.
  3. If you did not like any of the articles, provide a topic of your interest in the LSCM field and tell us why you are interested in the topic.

Video 1:

  1. Provide a summary of one or two topics covered in this video
  2. What are the topics?
  3. Refer to the CSCMP or customer perspective definition of Logistics, how is that captured in this video?
  4. What are your takeaways from watching the video?
  5. How can you relate it to what is currently happening in today’s market?
