This file contains data about border crossings on one day (March 1, 2019) at the US-Canada and the US-Mexico borders including passengers in private vehicles and buses, as well as freight in trains and trucks. You will perform the following steps in this assignment:
STEP 1: Split the data into two groups: crossings at the US-Canada border and crossings at the US-Mexico border
STEP 2: For each group, you will only work with passenger data points. You will need to look at two columns: a) ‘Measure’, which contains values such as Trucks, Private Vehicles, Pedestrians, etc. and b) ‘Value’, which contains the count of Trucks, Private Vehicles, Pedestrians, etc. at each border crossing.
STEP 3: For each border crossing, identify the number of i) Private Vehicles, ii) Pedestrians, and iii) Buses crossing over
STEP 4: Compute the following statistics from the isolated data.
